Maxicrop Seaweed Plant Growth Stimulant - The Range

It has been discovered that seaweed with the help of trace elements form enzymes that make its own auxin in plants.The plant growth stimulant properties of Maxicrop Seaweed Extract will enhance natural growth processes, leading to greater rooting and establishment, while producing strong, healthy growth with improved resistance to pests, diseases and environmental stress. This a balanced fertiliser with an NPK ratio of 7-7-7, making it suitable for use on a wide variety of crops and flowering plants. This concentrated liquid version has the same NPK ratio as the original granular fertiliser, and the manufacturer has added micronutrients. The pelargoniums it fed flowered more than any others on test, probably due to the large proportion of potassium in the mix. For fully grown plants, apply 45ml (4 and a half inner capfuls) in 9 litres of water and apply every 10 to 14 days. Many popular fertilisers (such as Tomorite) are now available with added seaweed extract, so you can add the purportedbenefits of seaweed at the same time as a fertiliser application. Seaweed contains every trace element a plant needs and it is available in a form where it can be easily absorbed, It also contains starch and sugars that are used by the plants. Any micronutrients that the seaweed provides will be readily used by the plant as it grows.

They also clearly show nutrient deficiencies in their leaves, and there are marked differences in size and flowering depending on whether they’re getting enough goodness. It can also be incorporated into potting soils, seed and transplant beds, as well as composting material to improve the health of all your outdoor or indoor plants. It will add organic matter to your soil and help it retain moisture. Value for money, as 2.5 litres of the product can make up 450 litres of solution and can, therefore, last a long time.
