We have involved a scientist and professional perfumer, Roberto Dario, who will enlighten us further on how to create our own pairings. The Dreamer is definitely one of the fresher tobacco-based fragrances, but it still has some warm and sweet qualities. With that in mind, you’re best off wearing this cologne either during the winter or the fall and spring. The temperatures are on the lower side during these seasons, which is perfect for a cologne such as this. You can either wear it formally or casually, whenever or wherever you want! Tobacco is a commonly used note in the sweeter and more intense colognes. Many people initially think that they won’t like the note of tobacco because of its reputation. However, tobacco in fragrances is the sweet, unlit kind. The note itself doesn’t give off an ash-like scent, but rather a sweet and comforting scent. Do you want a perfume that smells strictly of vanilla or has a faint whisper of sweetness from a vanilla note? If the vanilla notes in your perfume are in the foundation with eight other base notes, it likely won’t have that strong of a vanilla scent. But on the other hand, if you want to really smell the vanilla, look for a perfume with only a few other notes throughout, one that only includes one or two other base notes, or that includes vanilla in the middle or opening. You can also look for a vanilla perfume that combines a few types of vanilla, like vanilla orchid or vanilla bourbon. Decide on the typeKnown as Nicotiana alata, the blossom of the tobacco flower produces an inviting fragrance with a dry floral, hay and leather-like scent. Volutes opens with a blast of dense and powdery iris, immediately introducing that powdery feeling. Along wtih the iris is a sweet scent of honey, once again adding a denseness, but also a beautiful and rich sweetness. The honey and iris will continue on for a while before the tobacco starts to show itself.
